DRESS RULES

 

Our golf club prides itself on being a relaxed and friendly club and we have a fairly relaxed dress code.  We would like to emphasize that, in keeping with the best traditions of golf, we ask that your clothing should be smart, clean and undamaged in any way.

 

TROUSERS, SHORTS, SHIRTS, SHOES AND SOCKS

 

On the course you are allowed to wear;

·        tailored trousers or shorts;

·        shirts - collared or collarless specifically designed for golf;

·        golf shoes only- must be worn, except for a caddy who may wear trainers;

·         socks- must be white except  knee length or trainer socks which may be any colour.

 

Ladies only may wear ¾ length trousers.

 

You are not allowed to wear jeans, sportswear, (such as elasticised shorts or rugby/football shirts) or shell suits. Shirts must be tucked into the trouser waistband.

 

In the clubhouse the same applies to trousers shorts and shirts as on the course but with the following additions/restrictions.

·        Golf Shoes may only be worn in the pro shop, stud bar and changing rooms.

         Trainers and deck shoes are not allowed

·        Shirts designed to be worn outside of trousers/shorts are permitted for Ladies at all times and Gents in the clubhouse only.

·        Denims are allowed, but, as with any other trousers, they should be ‘in good taste’ and not be torn, ripped, frayed, multicoloured

         or dirty.

·        Shorts may only be worn up to 7.30pm in the upstairs lounge. 

·        Ladies only may wear sleeveless shirts/ tops, ¾ length trousers and are allowed NOT to have to wear socks in the Clubhouse

·        Wet or dirty attire must not be worn upstairs.

 

These rules do not apply to children under the age of 10.

 

CHANGING CLOTHES OR SHOES SHOULD NOT TAKE PLACE IN THE CAR PARK.

ALL HATS MUST BE REMOVED BEFORE GOING UPSTAIRS IN THE CLUBHOUSE

 

Persons not complying with these rules will be asked to leave the course and/or clubhouse as appropriate.
